Help Nell Walk Again

Nell is a 6 year old Shiba Inu that belongs to a 78 year old gentleman named Charles .  He only has enough social security to make his rent and barely has enough for food for himself.  All his friends and family have died along the way. The only one he has is Nell who was perfectly healthy until her ACL tore. Now the dog can barely walk and is in tremendous pain.  Charlie has heart issues and clinical depression. Nell is all he has.  When Nell was walking better Charlie would take her around New Haven to visit the Yale students and the community.  It was all he had to brighten his day.  If anyone can donate toward the surgery it would mean the world to Charlie and get a wonderful,  loving animal that can live 20 years out of pain.  I've checked with many vets and none are willing to help, not even with a payment plan, not even with wheels, nothing.  So the only hope Charlie has is you.  Thank you so much from the bottom of my heart.
