Help Nell Help Rescue Boy Troy

Hi! I'm Dominique. I'm fundraising for my sister, Jeanelle and her rescue kitten, Troy.

A week ago, Troy was found on the side of the road at three weeks old. Barely breathing, extremely emaciated and covered in fleas. Not knowing how long Troy had been without this mother, Nell jumped in without hesitation and took him in to give him a loving/warm home.

This last Sunday, a week after being rescued, Tory had a seizure and has been hospitalized since. He has been under 24hr care with an incredible team of doctors (with nurses who often fight over who will get to care for him).

While things have started to look up, depending on his test results, he may need a blood transfusion.

Anyone who knows the Hassman/Bumb family knows how much we love animals. Troy isn't just a kitten to Nell; he's been her co-pilot, co-worker and snuggle bud for the past week and has brought her so much joy.

Lastly, if you know Nell, she has always given to those around her and those she loves. She works at the YMCA, is the first to donate to friends' (and even strangers) GoFundMes, and will always lend a helping hand when she can.

With vet care coming at the cost we all know and hate, Nell is currently liquidating assets to cover these bills. The $5K is for expenses that have already accrued.
