Nela is a single mom who works tirelessly to support her young son and their dog. She runs a food prep company from her apartment, and her kitchen is the heart of her business. Recently, while cooking for work, a fire broke out and destroyed her entire kitchen. The fire also triggered the sprinkler system, which ended up ruining her furniture and most of her personal belongings and caused the apartment to be inhabitable due to the water damage. This unexpected disaster has left her unable to continue her business and currently without a home.

Because of the extensive damage, Nela and her family are unable to stay in their apartment as it has now been declared a total loss and will need to find a new place to live.
