In the early hours of 1/4/26, a devastating fire destroyed the home that Nekole was living in with her two sons, ages 11 and 3. The house, which she rented from her brother, was completely consumed by the fire. Nothing inside was salvageable. In a matter of minutes, they lost their home and everything they owned. Both Nekole and her brother sustained injuries from the smoke and require ongoing medical treatment. Thankfully, lives were spared, but the road to recovery: physically, emotionally, and financially will be long.

Right now, Nekole and her two sons are displaced and do not have a home to return to. They are facing the overwhelming task of securing temporary housing, replacing basic necessities like clothing and personal items, and managing medical expenses, all while processing the trauma of this loss. We are raising funds to help provide immediate support for housing, medical care, daily essentials, and to help this family begin rebuilding their lives.

Any donation, no matter the size, will make a meaningful difference. If you’re unable to donate, please consider sharing this page to help spread the word. Thank you so much for your kindness, generosity, and support during this incredibly difficult time.
