Neko has been with me since he was just two weeks old. I found him on the street after his mom abandoned him because both of his eyes were severely infected, and he was close to losing them. From the very beginning, I never saw him as just a pet. He became my little son. When I found Neko, I was going through one of the darkest moments of my life. Somehow, he saved me. He gave me a reason to keep going, a reason to wake up every day. Now it’s my turn to save him.

As some of you may know, the start of this year has been incredibly hard. Neko suffered a severe urinary blockage that nearly took his life. He was rushed to the emergency vet, where he almost went into cardiac arrest. He had to be hospitalized and undergo urgent surgery to survive. Unfortunately, I didn’t have pet insurance at the time, and the medical costs are overwhelming. Asking for help is not something I ever wanted to do, but I have no other choice. I’m starting this GoFundMe to cover his emergency care and give him the chance to fully recover.
