We were very upset to learn that our friend Neil Sargent was recently hospitalized with a blood clot in his lungs. We are so relieved to know that he is now home from the hospital after his 5 day stay!

He was treated with blood thinners and antibiotics, but has since been released and is now resting up. He will need some help with his hospital bills, so let’s all do what we can for him!

This gofundme was set up at the request of all of the wonderful people who are unable to attend the fundraiser event in person, but who would still like to support and help Neil. Thank you so much for your generosity and willingness to help him when he needs it the most. All of the money raised here will go directly to Neil.

Neil has authorized his sister, Karen Sargent, to withdraw the funds as his beneficiary and transfer the money to him.

The event itself will be held Sunday July 25th at the JP Hops House (2317 Highway 6 South 77077). All money raised will go towards Neil's hospital bills.

The event will start at 3:00 pm. There will be a silent auction, so please bring your items or services to be auctioned off (or bring money to buy what others bring).

Lets all come together and show our love for Neil! He is such a kind and generous person, and has always brightened everyone’s life with his warmth and friendship. He is also one of the most skilled luthiers around, a true master of his craft. He deserves all the support we can give!
