My brother-in-law, Neil Martin, was diagnosed with esophageal cancer early 2021 and it had spread to his lungs, liver, and bones. His strength and perseverance throughout his battle has been admirable. The battle isn't over but his loving and caring energy still shows even when he isn't feeling his best. He is continuing with chemotherapy and radiation along with meditation.

Neil and his wife Rica also welcomed a new baby boy in September 2021. They are now proud parents of two adorable sons, Atlas and Max. Unfortunately, Neil has not been able to work since he was diagnosed and due to the circumstances, it has been difficult to keep up with medical expenses.

It has been tough with the high cost of childbirth and insurance payments. At the end of January, he will lose his benefits with his employer due to going on long term disability. Therefore, his financial burden will increase in a major way.

Our family and friends are doing the best that we can to help support them through this challenging time. We know that he needs to get healthy before he can return to work and help provide for his family again. We would be so grateful for any amount that you can donate. This will help lift many financial burdens that come with medical costs and high deductibles for treatments that will need to be paid upfront this year. We want Neil and his family to focus on his health, recovery, and their two sweet boys.
