Dear Friends,

My name is Kina Kantor, Neil’s only daughter. I am starting this fundraiser to help my father get the medical care and surgeries he so urgently needs. He has a long road ahead of him. Of primary concern is his dangerously low weight, for which a feeding tube is urgently necessary. Time is of the essence. He has recently been diagnosed with Stage 4 renal failure. When he is stronger and in a more stable condition, he will need laryngocele and inguinal hernia repair surgery on both sides to aid in his ability to process and digest food independently. Due to his illness, he is unable to work, as well as his partner, Raechel, who is caring for him full time.

He's already incurred considerable medical expenses from an emergency he recently found himself in, ending up in the ER with a strangulated hernia. Since he was denied Medicare Part A due to a social security error (still unremediated despite numerous inquiries), we are trying to figure out help, ie., legal, pay for Part A without Social Security, etc. In the meantime, we need to raise money to help him get through the journey ahead.

All of these funds will go towards medical bills, recovery, day-to-day survival needs and expenses for him and his partner/primary caretaker Raechel.

Throughout my life, I have never encountered a spirit and heart as generous as his. He has always extended himself to help others, no matter his situation. So many of us have benefited from my father’s extraordinary healing presence and skills. With your help, we can provide meaningful support during this difficult time.
