Life hit my best friend, Neil, with a double blow. He's an international student from the Philippines, a kind soul who was raised by his extended family after his mom abandoned him. His family means everything to him, and he supports them however he can, even while studying far away.

This past week, his beloved grandma died last Tuesday, and tragically, his great-uncle passed away the very next day.
