"Life is truly best when giving to others in need."
For those of you who know Neil, he sees an opportunity and jumps in with both feet. Literally - he is currently in North Carolina on the ground helping clear roads, deliver supplies and help those who so desperately need a hand right now.
The devastation is profound - more widespread than is reported in the media. Hundreds of people still yet to be found, towns completely wiped off the map - with more storms to come, we desperately need your help if you can.
This Go Fund Me is to cover Neil's expenditures to date and going forward as he continues to assist those in need. This includes chain saws along with other equipment and supplies for those affected in this disaster. All donations above and beyond the goal will be directed to Samaritans Purse.

Here is an update from Neil from day 5 of his time serving in NC...
Day 5 of the Relief journey.
Today we were in some of the poorer areas of Helene’s wrath, near Trade, TN.
Delivering a lg generator for Samaritans and to a retired electrician that will restore power to several homes. The ABFboone.org church is providing much support with 5 hubs of food, clothing, blankets and essentials to many that will be without power for many weeks.
Am sorry to see some wonderful friends, William & Cherie who helped in so many ways be leaving. Please pray for their journey home as they travel to Charlotte then FL to their other properties to repair from Hurricane Milton, and the pre-storm typhoons that damaged so much more.
Most victims here are oblivious to the upcoming election but have strong feelings about who they support. Each Dead End road we travel their is a different story and expression of people helping others. Many are surprised how far I came to help them, and they weep with appreciation.
We have seen some National Guard and Chinook helicopters wisping above but no real signs of FEMA.
Tomorrow we will return to TN and await requests between cutting trees on/around homes for many elderly.
It has been said that America is “9 meals from disaster” and we are beyond that with many needing help. At $750 ea for a new Stihl chain saw and protective gear, I could easily give 100 away to neighbors helping neighbors. Am very selective who receives one as we want to be assured they will use to help others.
Thanks to my good friend Mike Michael Mik Mikulan (retired ARMY Lt Col.), he is at Command Center directing my efforts. My role is to deliver and serve however needed as my chainsaws are making a major cut into the mayhem.
One of the most patriotic things I saw were actual flag poles next to headstone for Veterans. A beautiful honor and recognition to their veterans.
Bless you that have given and thank you for your support. My plans are to be here for 2 more weeks. God Bless.
