My name is Sudeen and I am fundraising for my neighbors and family in Saint Vincent, Trelawny, Jamaica after Category 5 hurricane Melissa swept through our beautiful Island and community. My Mom has lost her livelihood when all her chickens and livestock drowned during the storm. Her home was badly damaged including a section of her roof being destroyed. My sister’s home was also badly damaged, her and her children are without basic supplies, including school supplies. In addition, our neighbors homes were all but destroyed, having no roofs left. The community is in the struggle of a lifetime trying not only to survive but to rebuild after their lives have been shattered in every way imaginable.
