Last weekend was one of the happiest times of Neidin and Jacob's lives as they just got married, surrounded by love and hope for the future. But in a heartbreaking turn, just days later, their apartment in Mississauga, Ontario was destroyed by a fire.

Thankfully, Neidin and Jacob, along with their beloved kitties and snakes, made it out safely. However, they suffered from smoke inhalation, and nearly everything they owned has been lost: clothing, furniture, personal belongings, and even some cherished mementos from their wedding.

They’re currently staying with family, but it’s only a short-term solution. With no home and no belongings, they now face the enormous task of finding a new place to live and starting completely from scratch.

We’re raising funds to help them with:

Emergency housing and rent assistance

Clothing and daily essentials

Furniture, kitchen items, and home basics

Veterinary and health checkups for their pets

Any unexpected costs as they navigate recovery
