Neeka is an 11-year-old girl who was critically injured in a rollover RV accident Monday night. She has already been Life Flighted twice and is now in Salt Lake City under the care of specialists. Neeka and her mom, Michelle, are facing an uncertain road ahead, and we are raising funds so Michelle can focus entirely on being by Neeka’s side.

Following the accident, Neeka was Life Flighted from Wyoming to a pediatric ICU in Idaho Falls. She suffered multiple serious injuries, including a broken leg that required surgery, injuries to her spleen that required a procedure to stop the bleeding, other broken bones, and internal injuries. She is currently intubated but responsive.

Last night, Neeka was Life Flighted again, this time to Salt Lake City, so she could be under the care of specialists.

As of this morning, Neeka’s numbers continue to worsen. Her medical team is doing everything possible to help her recover. Right now, Michelle is taking things hour by hour and focusing entirely on being by her side.

Our families have been close since Michelle was my son Sawyer’s kindergarten teacher. Neeka was also in the same class. Over the years, Neeka and Sawyer have become such close friends that they don’t even refer to each other as friends anymore; they call each other cousins. Neeka and her family have become family to us, too. ❤️

They are facing a long and uncertain road ahead. Neeka could require an extended stay in Salt Lake City, while home, work, and responsibilities remain back in the Boise area.
