A few days ago, while on vacation in Atlantic City, I had a medical emergency and was taken via ambulance to the local hospital.

After testing, it was discovered that I've got diverticulitis and had gotten a perforation in my bowel. Since then, I've been on non-stop IV antibiotics as well as pain meds. The doctor is confident it will heal on its own, but it will take a bit of time.

Even after I am able to be discharged, I will not be working for at minimum the next few weeks. I won't be able to drive still, and I've had to cancel jobs I had lined up out of concern for not being able to get there or care for the animals.

I am hoping if I can raise enough money for my health insurance premium, car insurance, car payment, and a few other smaller bills all due towards the end of the month.
