Hey everyone — we really need some help.

Today we are going to rescue four neglected bearded dragons. We’ve rescued and rehomed 19 dragons total, but we have never had to take in four at the same time.

These poor babies have been housed together this whole time and are severely malnourished. Just look at the horrible conditions they came from.

Here’s what needs to be done and the estimated costs:

• “Blood money” (purchase to remove them from the situation): $50 × 4 = $200

• Vet visit: $100 × 4 = $400

• Fecal exam: $50 × 4 = $200 (this doubles if parasites are found) + medication

• Blood work: $150 × 4 = $600 — if the vet determines it’s needed

• Supplies: We may need a couple of additional lamps

• Plus any other unexpected needs — there is always a surprise
