Pumpkin’s Rescue Club constantly needs support for the medical cases and adults taken into its care.
Just in the last couple of months, 4 seniors have joined the party. Each receiving senior lab work, urinalysis, and dentals!
- Star, our tripod 12 year old. She’s actually very very shy. Sweet but so scared for her life. Her wound has healed beautifully though. Her lab work shows slightly elevated kidney levels so we’re doing a urinalysis next! She’s on the waitlist for a dental!
- Little Guy & Big Guy, our SUPER bonded boys. Never have I met kitties that love each other this much. Big Guy is 8 and Little Guy 7! Both have good bloodwork and urine results, and have had their dentals.
- Buddy, our 8 year old mangey boy who is not so mangey anymore. He’s due for his senior blood work and on the waitlist for a dental!
Aside from seniors, we’ve had many many medical cases.
- Rocky was found in a parking lot in Miami. Shrunken ear, ear canal occluded. Severe double eye entropion (none other than the best, Dr. Matt completed his surgery). FIV positive. Infected front paw. LICE! He is now recovering and we are gauging his temperament
- Gatito, a 4 year old kitty cat that lives in a feeders yard where TNR is done. Super sweet outside kitty, who is currently suffering from entropion as well per Animal Eye Guys. He is waiting for surgery!!
- Bubs, a 3 year old kitty who was TNRed months ago, came back with skin issues, and REALLY bad looking eyes. We are working on retrapping him to get him to the vet
- Tilty Poo, one of our longest residents. She’s been in our care since July of 2024. We just hit a discovery that could be the reason why she has chronic congestion! A broken tympanic membrane! Fingers crossed it heals naturally
Our two kittens, (YES TWO ONLY because adults take up PRC’s life )
- Eggnog, who is about 5-6 months old. He may have a rare congenital condition called mucopolysaccharidosis. We are unsure but just sent out the test today. He has been a trial and error kind of kitty, as not even specialist know what’s wrong with him. He eats very strangely, and makes a huge MESS. His breathing has also been very abnormal recently, but his X-rays are clear. He’s completed his treatment for mycoplasma as well, and his calicivirus should fade within the month. Let’s hope this last test gives us some answers
- Pirate, our “supposed one eye” kitty, whose eye had completely healed with lots of medications and TLC!! She’s about 4-5 months old!
We have one other adult, named Momma, who has been with us for 2 years!!! Going to 3!! She is healthy but hasn’t had any luck at all finding a forever home!!
Sorry for such a long long message, but we have a lot going on in PRC!! This gofundme has been open for a long time and just is a way for people to donate if it’s preferred.
Thank you so much for donating or sharing!
Sincerely,
Pumpkin’s Rescue Club
