Help needed to raise money for treatment.

As some of you may know, in June of 2018 a health issue arose for me  which turned out to be one of the Lyme related co-infections. Initially I was mostly able to pay for treatment and seeing Dr's while working through the maze that is the treatment of Lyme. I managed through 2019 mostly ok. Through periods of up and down which is the territory one accepts when dealing with this.  After months of treatment I felt slightly better and was functional.  In the beginning of 2020 I'd begun working with a new Dr, continuing testing, and seeking solutions when Covid arrived. I had stockpiled treatment protocols for several months and March through June of 2020 managed. Once resources ran out I stopped treatment and employed a mind over matter strategy, which worked for a while. In July symptoms accelerated. This month symptoms worsened. On top of the pre-existing neurological ones, increased muscle weakness, difficulty breathing and swallowing and a host of body related issues landed as well as rapidly declining  mental function. So I'm at a difficult place. I'm asking for money when it's something I'd rather not do, but don't see another option, at a time that couldn't be worse. These kinds of infections are very difficult to treat and can create a host of exotic outcomes if not managed properly, and this is what I'm attempting to avoid. Effective treatment can be both long, expensive, and complex with numerous kinds of treatment protocols being managed at one time. Often a person has to become their own Dr and explore various different strategies and treatments to return to wellness. I've personally come to know many others who have spent between 60-$250,000 out of pocket to treat themselves, if they were lucky enough to be well financed. Unfortunately insurance covers very little in a situation such as this. In 2019 it cost roughly $10-12,000 covering medical expenses.

So I'm seeking money for treatment, which includes continuing to work with Dr's, necessary testing, resources to cover meds and the host of other compounds, supplements, botanicals and pharmaceuticals needed as part of treatment. This is an attempt to stave off a worse outcome, which I've personally seen happen with others I've come to know. And I don't want to be managing an outcome like Parkinson's, ALS, or other Neurological condition 5 years from now which can and does happen in this territory. This is also an attempt to stave off the chronic status that so many come to accept when dealing with Lyme. Right now time is of the essence, I need to begin vigorous and comprehensive treatment quickly. So I've decided to come to my extended family to ask for help. It's extremely difficult and humbling for me to consider taking this step, and isn't a decision I've made lightly. At this point anything would help.
