hi, my name is Ophelia and I am trying very hard to keep my housing during a period of time where that's been very difficult for me and my roommates.

One of my roommates lost his job over the summer and fell behind on rent. Though he's been continuing to pay rent for the months after his portion was left overdue, our landlord has served us with a notice to quit and is now moving toward bringing us to court.

In addition to all of this, my adshare on youtube has dramatically decreased in the last few months, and I am struggling to keep on top of my own monthly portion of rent. We are currently behind by $1,072.19, I have asked for extra in this fundraising goal to insulate me when my paycheck for December comes in and is again extremely low, not only because of platform difficulties but due to my catching the flu last month and becoming very ill. We have applications in for state assistance, but things are moving more quickly than our application for RAFT is, and while I very much wanted to see if this could resolve on its own before needing to crowdfund, I am too afraid of moving into another court litigation and need to ask for help.

If you appreciate the work I do on youtube and want a way to support me more long term, monetary donations made in in the form of Patreon memberships or Ko-fi donations also currently are being routed directly toward paying down the back rent, but if you're interested or able to give a one time donation, this is a situation where it would be deeply appreciated and put to the very direct use of helping me keep the apartment I have been in since 2019, from where I have literally nowhere else to go.
