This is new for me.  I've always been able to pay my rent.  Unfortunately, due to recent events that is no longer the case and I have received an eviction notice. I have been on disability from a job that I held for over 20 years.  I do not qualify for unemployment or government assistance.  My temporary disability income has run out.  Long-term disability is not available because I am actively looking for employment. I have had several interviews and have a few more scheduled.  But the process of obtaining a new job has taken longer than expected and I have used all of my available savings. I am in triage mode.  I am asking the community for financial support to cover the basics:  rent; utilities; cell phone; and car related expenses - gas, insurance, and car note.
