We have tried so many community/government resources and it seems they have either been depleted already due to the pandemic and/or there are long waitlists. This family needs immediate help and we can't seem to find it. That's why we need YOU!

Hi, I am Kelley and I am asking for your help to lift a family in need here in Phoenix, AZ. I met this beautiful family last year as my son became great friends with one of the children in the Garcia family. I soon found them to be sweet, funny and thoughtful people and we all became fast friends! I was heartbroken to learn that Mrs. Garcia had been courageously battling acute myeloid leukemia for 4 years already and recently was not given much more time with her terminal case. The husband has been working overtime for so long and striving hard to provide for the family while she fights for her life. They adore their children and my son goes to school with Joshua (5th grade), Liliana (3rd grade), and Milania (1st grade). They also have a high schooler who just welcomed a baby girl 3 weeks ago - so they are working hard to care for the whole family.

The most urgent need is funds for housing. The family had been staying with a relative, but they are losing their home and will have nowhere to stay next week (4/18/22) onward. Due to poor credit from surmounting medical bills, they have low funds and not enough credit to qualify for a new rental property without a large deposit and several payments up front.

Any funds donated will go directly to the family to secure a place to stay and to feed and supply the family. If there happens to be any excess of funds, they would go to the many medical bills looming over this sweet family.
