Seeking Support

On December 30th, my life took a drastic turn when Anoka Police Department responded to a domestic incident at my apartment. Tear gas was deployed in my apartment, therefore, I had to evacuate with my cats. The apartment was not habitable afterward, and after failed attempts to clean the space individually and professionally, neither of which got rid of the substance. After consulting with my insurance for weeks, my renters insurance also decided to refuse all coverage, from the cleaning crews, hotel stays, and lost belongings. Now with no support, I am facing a mounting financial burden, including but not limited to: professional cleaning costs, hotel stay expenses, rental costs from January to present, and an abundance of lost possessions.
