Help needed! Dad needs urgent hip operation

My dad is a man who has always loved the outdoors, helping people less fortunate and looking after family. Jonathan has lived a lively and energetic life enjoying cycling, djing and walks, until recently.
Late 2019 when going about his daily life who started to experience severe pain in his hip area. This was so agonizing that at points he has struggled to walk let alone go about daily chores.
He visited the GP who said his hip had fractured and come out of place, in order to get this done on the NHS it was a wait time of 2-3 years. My dad stressed that this was an emergency upon numerous visits, however the GP's & NHS had disregarded this injury as an emergency and were firm that he would have to wait 2-3 years for a hip operation but had given him a pair of crutches to help him walk. which he now has to carry everywhere incase the hip comes out of place leaving him immobile and leaving him in a lot of pain.
He considered his only option to seek advice privately which he had to pay £200 to see an orthopaedic consultant. They took an x ray and my dad was diagnosed with hip mouse which is where part of the bone / cartilage has broken off and causes excruciating pain when it comes out of place.
The doctor at sancta maria has said the only way of fixing this was a new hip which would be a lengthy and daunting operation. With a 3 month timeframe on completion of a private operation, which is far better than 2-3 years! But at a cost of £11,000
This injury has affected his lifestyle leaving him able to do very little and has stopped him from doing the things he loves and even causes him pain in work as a support worker for Llamau a charity helping with youth homelessness.
Jonathan has spent his working life committing to charities and helping the less fortunate. Dad spent 20 years working at Childline, Swansea helping to reduce child abuse acrose the UK. I consider him to be very self sufficient, rarely asking for help, due to the nature of his situation, all help will be much appreciated.
My dad is sick of it affecting him and his ability to do so little so fears the only way to get this sorted and put it behind him is to get it done privately so he can carry on with his life. He has raised so far £5000 and will be very grateful for anyone to help him
Any donations will be very much helpful, and anyone who knows my dad will know just how much this injury has had a burden on his life! There is only so much you can do to care and look after my dad , the operation will be the thing to see him to full health. Thanks all for your time.
