Help Needed for Displaced Family with Young Children in Gaza

Hi, my name is Andrea and l am hoping to raise urgent funds needed for Walaa and her husband Issa and three young children, Lina 6, Mai 5 and Ayham 4 years old.

Walaa had believed she was a widow when her husband disappeared late 2023. She has miraculously survived the genocide living in tented camps alone with her children.

Suddenly and unexpectedly, Walaa’s husband, Issa, appeared 2 weeks ago having been in prison in Israel. He was part of the hostage / prisoner exchange.

He is very poorly with eye injuries, skin conditions and trauma related problems.

Walaa has lost everything. She cannot return to her village in Gaza because the IDF are still present. Her tent flooded a few weeks ago and their clothes and bedding were damaged and lost. She has endured a lot, but remains upbeat describing what has happened to her over the last 18 months as a ‘lesson’.

Walaa has had very little help apart from basic aid and a few direct donations from friends.

I am hoping that Walaa will be able to receive donations to help her obtain the necessary items for her family. She is tired, upset and anxious. She is holding on the best she can, but her situation is dire. She needs food, blankets, clothes and sanitary items.
