Help needed for unexpected death of my Daddy

Donation protected
On Friday, January 24, 2020 my Father Dale Albiston passed away very suddenly and unexpectedly. He had been given a clear bill of health for an upcoming surgery that was due to take place Monday, January 27th. He was feeling well all day Friday with no signs anything was wrong until around 4:00 p. m. He started sweating uncontrollably, said his face hurt really bad, and he was slightly short of breath. We called 911 and they got him all ready to go to the hospital. We watched as they loaded him up into the ambulance and we're planning on driving to the hospital after they got him settled in a room so they could do their tests. We had no idea it was that serious. Within thirty minutes of him leaving in the ambulance my step mother called to say he didn't make it. He had coded on the way to the hospital and died of a massive heart attack.

I still don't believe it. I am in utter shock. He was ok!! He felt fine until then! We were not prepared to lose him this soon. I have been my father's and his long time girl friends caretaker for the past 12 years. They have lived with us just as long. I took care of their medical, and emotional needs, took them to all appointments, filled out all paperwork they ever had, made calls on their behalf, and did everything I could to make things easy on them as they both suffered from medical issues. My father helped provide financially for our large family of 8 in return, because I suffer from leukemia and lupus and have not been able to work, other than to care for them. He provided half of our income. The other half from Adam working.

We are at a loss on what to do from here. We loved him so much and he was so proud of his children and his grandbabies! My children are extremely upset, my step mom is sleeping on dad's side of the bed, and I'm trying to remain strong for everyone, but I'm in complete denial and shock.

We hate to ask for help financially, but we were not expecting this, and things have already been tight due to my multiple hospitalizations in the past couple months due to my cancer and ulcerative colitis. We need help with following through with my father's wishes of cremation, travel expenses to get my siblings here from Texas and Missouri to help me through this devastating loss, his funeral service costs, and help with future costs of taking full care of my step mom and family.

If you cannot help out financially, we understand, and ask that you please share this and pray for our family during this very difficult time in our lives. Thank you all for your well wishes, prayers and love! RIP Daddy. I will love and miss him forever!
