As independent rescuers, we have lately rescued many sick and palliative cats off the cruel street. Recently 3 friendly, scrawny, homeless kittens were rescued from Campsie as well as a beautiful shy older kitten from Bankstown.

We just couldn’t turn our backs on these defenceless kitties, who are in this predicament through no fault of their own.

Button, the tabby kitten from Campsie has an injured cloudy eye, likely from a cat scratch and chronic diarrhoea. Prescribed medications were given to no avail. A PCR test was requested to find out the root cause of his diarrhoea.

Since being rescued, Stormy (from Bankstown) has become lethargic and unwell. She was rushed to the vet and was diagnosed with active cat flu so needed immediate treatment. See vet bill of $300 attached. A follow up appointment will be required.

I normally pay for the vet bills as well a quality food/fleaing/worming etc for the rescues but due to so many sick cats under care, it’s unsustainable to absorb all the vet costs.
