Dear friends, family, and kind-hearted strangers, I am reaching out today as my in-laws are in need of urgent help. Due to unforeseen financial hardships and complicated life situations, I am trying my best to raise money to assist them with their rent, which is facing eviction very soon. I ask for any help to assist them as they are family and also to benefit Danny and my two young girls, Layla (4) and Ellie (3), who they graciously provide daycare for during the week and have for the last 4 years.

I’m trying to raise at least $3,000 to cover rent and related expenses to prevent eviction proceedings and keep the family together and in a much-needed home. We want to give back to them for doing so much for us all these years. The love and time they have given to our precious girls means the world to us.

This home is more than just a place for them to live; it's a second home for our girls/their granddaughters and where they are able to provide their daycare for us as they have for years. We rely heavily on them and their home for all the gracious, loving help they have been able to provide us all these years since we were able to first foster, then adopt these precious girls.

Losing this home would mean unimaginable stress and instability for everyone, especially our children, as not only is it what they know and love, but they are also able to receive needed bus transportation to and from preschool as my in-laws live within the “required radius” of their preschool where both girls receive their much-needed speech therapy. Their school hours are short and within the time frame of mine and Danny’s work hours, making it nearly impossible for us to get them to and from preschool each day.
