Help Needed For Paying For College

Greetings,

My name is Joshua Nance, and I would first like to thank you for visiting my GoFundMe page. The purpose behind my creation of this page was as to reach out for financial assistance to further my college education. Let me share, that making a public request like this, is one of the hardest things that I ever had to do. It is very humbling, I was raised to believe that if you work hard in life, get good grades, then all your needs will be met, and you won’t need assistance from anybody.

But with limited funds, working 2-3 jobs, I have been able to compile a 3.6 GPA over my first three years of college at Grand Canyon University, but at this point of time, my funds and savings have completely depleted. I was raised to believe in the power of prayer, and in my prayer to God, I believe he told me that faith without works is dead. I need to remain in faith, but reach out to others and allow God to move on their hearts and trust God throughout this process. I know in my heart that God definitely has a plan for my life, so I am hopeful that God will use those outside of my family to help me to get that next step in life.

Who is Joshua Nance and what is my background? I come from a family of nine of limited means. They did all that they could to get me through High School, but COVID made making ends meet very, very difficult. Because of our current financial situation, they are unable to help finance my college education. My Father, Grandfather and Grandmother all served in the military, and I honestly believe in my heart of hearts that is my next path in life. I am currently enrolled in a program that once it is completed, I can enter the army as an Officer and that would make me the first army officer in my family. My goal that once my pathway is complete, I will be in a position to help others by setting up a foundation for someone like myself who has the potential but lacks the funding for a college education.

I am and have been applying for additional funding, scholarships, and grants, but so far that has not netted any positive results as of now. Please know, that any money you deposit into my account will 100% go to my College Tuition. Whatever God lays on your heart, I would be forever grateful. Any way you choose to bless me, understand that you are giving in to purpose. Because I know in my heart of hearts that God has a plan for me, and whatever you decide to do, you will be helping me to get closer to that plan God has for me.
