Hello, the shortest version of this I can give is this: I am president of a small veteran owned diagnostic imaging company in the Inland Empire area of Southern California called MedX-Imaging Services.  Myself and my co-owner both served in the U.S. Army(he in Vietnam and myself in Iraq). For the last 6 years we have been doing x-rays for the community as well as being a testing facility for Veterans undergoing disability evaluations, largely doing echocardiograms, pulmonary function tests and x-rays.  In the last year we ventured into equipment sales for hospitals, clinics, and imaging facilities and it was here that our problem came to be.  In short, we have been defrauded by an unscrupulous vendor in the amount of $40,000 .   This 40k was paid to this vendor after myself and my co-owner applied for a loan to acquire this equipment for a sale the vendor had supposedly set up for us.  All indicators are that he did not and he has disappeared with our money,  and now my company is on the verge of bankruptcy and going into default on this loan.  While I am currently taking steps to try and get this resolved, it is not at the time looking good.  I am asking for help to strictly to pay this loan back to the finance company.  My partner and I are guaranteers on this loan and we signed on for this because of my trust in the vendor at the time,  which was obviously a major mistake on my part.  If we go into default my partner and I will be personally liable, and my home as well as his will be jeopardized.  I readily admit my naivete in business played a part in this but at this point I'm doing whatever I can so that my family and my partner's family do not have to suffer because of this.  Any help would be so greatly appreciated and for anyone who can contribute, I am willing and able to provide proof that your contribution will go to the finance company we are in debt to.  I fully understand the skepticism that any gofundme page may meet.  If you are willing and able to help, I will gladly send  to you any documentation or proof you need to demonstrate that this situation is legitimate.  You are even free to contact me with any questions you may have.  My email address is [email redacted] and my name is Thomas Crosby.  This is not an easy avenue for me to pursue to fix this but my pride has to take a back seat now.  I thank you for taking your time to look this over.
