memorial service and college fund donations

My dear friend Gale Davis, lost her partner of nearly 26 years this morning.  After a five year battle with health issues including stroke, brain surgery that left him paralyzed on his left side, and other related physical hardships. 

The first word that comes to mind when I think of Gale is 'Kindness'.  During the three years of her husband's stay at Kei-ai Care Home in Gardena, she visited daily and took him on outings every weekend.   Gale was a strong advocate for his care.  She also made many friends with the nurses, rehabilitation staff, and all that supported his ongoing care.

As a school nurse, Gale has helped students and families with health care needs, put hundreds of band-aides on boo-boo's, and is always ready to lend a hand in a moment's notice, no questions asked.  

I am creating this fundraising page for the cremation expenses of her beloved husband.  Most funeral homes require payment in advance for their services.  Gale will need to act on this next task within the next few days.  Any amount donated will make it possible and is kindly appreciated and will go directly to the family.

The family will have a celebration of his life in the near future.
