Help needed for medical expenses/cost of living.

On Tuesday, November 26 2019, my son was involved in a car accident. After 2 days of being in Wakemed hospital we finally got notified that he was in the STICU in critical condition. His injuries include:
Broken left wrist, broken right femur, broken ribs from #5 - 9, collapsed lungs, swollen brain, intracranial bleeding, Diffuse Axonal Injury, ruptured spleen which had to be removed, and a fractured hip.
An MRI was conducted which revealed the Diffuse Axonal Injury.
The doctor has been trying to wake him up from the medically induced coma to be able to see if he will respond for verbal and physical commands. Friday he was able to but since 10 p.m. Friday night he has ceased to respond, only responding to some pain stimulus. He is constantly battling a fever of 100-103 degrees, and the staff are unsure as to whats causing it.
I called the police to see if they could give me at least SOME information as to where or what happened that Tuesday afternoon, yet they claim to have no records and refuse to give us any information unless we know the drivers name, which wasn't him, and we have absolutely no way of finding out who the driver was either, as the staff aren't given that information, and the Police refuse to give it to us unless we already know it.
We are starting this campaign because we need any help we can possibly get. He just started a new job which took him a very long time to find, and because of this he hasn't been working long enough to get insurance, he wont have a way to pay the extreme medical expenses. I'm currently out of state and unable to work during the time that I'll be with him. I'm raising this money towards bills, and my son's future medical bills. My Fiance' will be working, but there's only so much we can do with only one person working. If you could find it within you to donate even 1$ it would mean the world to us all.
