Help needed for Joe Altes' family

Joe Altes, a Crockett alum and former Crockett athlete, brother of one of our Crockett coaches, and father to a Crockett student (as well as a beloved family member and friend to so many more) passed away unexpectedly on February 2nd. After his years as a student and athlete at Crockett, he spent many more years in a variety of positions at Crockett, helping with many things - especially athletics, where he most recently volunteered to help with the book and clock at Volleyball and Basketball games for years. His family needs financial help with the cremation and celebration of life ceremony, as they were not prepared for these expenses. Additional funds will be used to help the family get on their feet and to help support Joe’s two children. There are many adjustments and major changes that a loss like this will cause to his family. Helping to take this financial load off of their shoulders, so that it will be one less thing for them to worry about, would be a major blessing. All funds raised will go directly to the family.
