Help Needed For Gary

Hi, my name is Karen and I am fundraising to help my brother Garret Allen get back on his feet and find housing after being displaced from his household when he was hospitalized with Covid. Gary is the kindest soul I know. He has had been a follower of Christ for decades, and really does "walk the walk" with Jesus. His story has been a hard one, yet time and time again he relies on his faith to carry him through. When I asked him if he wanted me to set up a Go Fund Me to help him, his answer was, "I have to pray about it".

Garret is a fulltime dental lab technician and lost a month of wages in December when he was hospitalized with Covid/Pneumonia. His medical bills are enormous and when he went to return to his paid apartment, his roommate would not allow him access to the home or his belongings. This was directly after being discharged from the hospital in Pheonix. He had absolutely nowhere to go except to an Extended Stay Motel where he was alone battling for his strength from the persistent pneumonia. It broke my heart that he was kicked out of his apartment and spent the holidays alone in a motel while still regaining his strength. He kept saying "Sis, I just want my bible and guitar".

I am hoping to raise enough money for Gary to get an apartment and get settled so he can rebuild his life and catch up on his medical bills. He was able to return to work this week but is out of money due to extensive hospital bills, unnecessary motel stays, and being out of work in December.

Garret's dream is to serve the Lord one day on another Mercy Ship and help make teeth and dentures for those in need. Please help me get him back into a normal living environment so he can continue God's work. Thank you.
