Help needed for Fin’s surgery

Fin is our first dog. He’s 8 years old and has been the best boy. 5 months ago we noticed a change; decreased appetite, movement, and overall limited quality of life. After numerous hospital and vet appts we resorted to medications and a steroid treatment that helped. 3 weeks ago he stopped putting weight on his back right leg entirely. He is confined to the first floor of our home and has a difficult time getting around all together. Recent scans show 2 torn ligaments in his leg with surgery being the only option to help him. The surgery costs between $4,000 - 6,000… we are really worried for his future prognosis. We are looking into a custom orthopedic leg brace until the surgery can be done. Fin has a lot of life ahead of him and anything to help prolong his future years is very much wanted. We are terrified to lose Fin and so worried how this will affect Edie losing her best friend. If anyone knows us, they know how this news is affecting us. We are asking for help of any kind to assist towards the surgery.  If anyone can share this, we would be forever grateful.
