Anyone who knows me knows I desperately do not like asking for help. However, I am reluctantly doing so now.

My son and I need to move into an apartment very soon. Although I have been saving, unforeseen circumstances (car repair, vet bills, medical bills, etc.) have made it very difficult, and we are just short of what we need.

On top of that, my cat now needs surgery. If I can't raise enough money for her surgery, I will be forced to surrender her to a shelter. She is very attached to us, and it would break my heart to see her be caged. Things have taken a toll mentally and emotionally on my son and I the past few months, and giving her up would be terrible.
