Help Needed for Family and Friend from Venezuela

I am starting this Fundraiser to try and support two dear individuals who are facing significant hardships.

For those who may not yet know me, I was born and raised in Venezuela. I had the great blessing of also being European, which allowed me to move to Austria 10 years ago. Unfortunately, some of my friends and family did not have the same opportunities as I did.

My cousin, Miguel Bavaresco, lives in Venezuela, where the economic situation is quite dire. Miguel has had a challenging life; he was adopted by my aunt after his birth mother decided she could not care for him. Despite being part of our family, Miguel has often felt unloved and unappreciated. Despite these challenges, he has shown great resilience and compassion by adopting Julio, a young boy with severe bowel issues since birth. Julio requires regular medical interventions to manage his condition, which has placed an additional financial burden on my cousin.

A great friend, Neukel Villalobos, a brilliant engineer, recently had a terrifying encounter with a criminal organization in Venezuela. They began extorting him and threatening his family, forcing him to flee last month to Europe. Unfortunately, as an undocumented immigrant, finding help and employment has been incredibly difficult. Neukel has received some assistance from the Red Cross and is working to resolve his legal status, but this process requires time and money. He has two small children, and his wife is currently pregnant. Despite his qualifications, Neukel is currently working in a Chinese restaurant to support his family.

My goal is to raise funds to help both Miguel and Neukel. I kindly ask for your support in this endeavor. Any contribution, no matter how small, would make a significant difference in their lives and provide them with much-needed relief.
