Help Needed for Family after Tragedy
On Monday, September 26 my 30 year old nephew, Robert Coleman Taylor, was a victim of senseless gun violence. He now remains in critical care from his life threatening injuries. Rob and his family of four young children (ages 5, 4, 1 and newborn) are struggling to cope and heal from this tragedy.
Rob’s medical bills are increasing rapidly. His recovery is going to be slow and long. As the sole provider for his young family, there are concerns on how their daily needs will be met until he’s able to return to work.
We are so grateful for any help you’re able to provide. Your kindness and generosity in assisting Rob and his family during this time of need is appreciated.
Update:
The family is sad to share the news of Robert’s passing on Friday evening, September 30. In spite of the expert medical care that Rob received, the extensive brain injury was too great for him to overcome. Rob is now at peace.
Comfort comes from knowing Rob will continue to live on through others in his gift of organ donation.
The young family continues to juggle medical bills, funeral expenses, as well as their daily living expenses. They’d like to thank their friends, family and neighbors for the continued love and support they are receiving during this difficult time.
