Help needed for Donald's surgery

Hello everyone!

Our little team met Donald when we were TNR'ing a new colony we found in the neighbourhood. We noticed Donald had several health issues that needed immediate attention. He had suspicious lumps on his ears that could potentially be cancerous, along with a large abscess on his neck that had already burst.

We took him to the vet, where he was vaccinated and desexed, received cleaning and stitching for his abscess, and had a partial ear-tip removal as a preventative measure to the risk of skin cancer. The total cost for Donald's treatment came to $650, and we’ve attached the invoice below.

He stayed at one of our volunteer's house during his recovery so we could monitor him and make sure he was fit to return home. As you can see in the photos, his wound healed beautifully so he will no longer be in any pain or discomfort. He is now back with his colony and we see him occasionally during our daily feedings.

Our team of volunteers is small, and we would greatly appreciate any support to cover this expense. Any contribution, big or small, would make a huge difference and allow us to continue helping cats in need like Donald.
