Help needed for Domestic water Delivery to rural

Hi everyone, I live in rural country NSW at a place called Yarrowitch we are over 50km to the nearest town called Walcha and are doing it hard in this long drawn out drought. Our tanks are nearly empty and we are currently taking washing into town to a laundromat and are not able to have as many showers as normal just to preserve the last bit of water in our tanks, there are many farms around that have the same issue, we phoned up looking for help with the cost of water cartage as we were quoted $350 plus just for cartage of a load of water out here we were told sorry as your a hobby farmer on small acreage we are not able to help we are only helping commercial farmers...1 load of water is only 10,000ltrs and as you can imagine that doesn’t last long even when being careful with it, that amount of water lasts around 1 month so this is an ongoing issue, we sold our horses we had on our 5 acres a while back due to not enough food and water getting low. the government and councils don’t care there is currently no help for small land holders like us for domestic house water.
The city takes water for granted as they look at it as a necessity as they also do for the big farming guys but us little fellas who live in the middle of nowhere with only tank water surrounded by huge farms don’t seem to matter it’s really upsetting as I don’t think we are any less important yet no one will help.
My husband and I are on a pension due to my health and can manage to pay for just the water cost but not the cartage it’s a killer...We would love to raise enough to get some water for us and even a couple of other people who we know that are in similar circumstances to us...and also to help us secure long term water for us until the drought breaks.
it’s not just us it’s all the little hobby farmers around that need help.. we are the forgotten ones.

Note... Any money raised over the 800.00 will still be put into helping others and securing our long term domestic water until the drought breaks.
