Help needed for a single mother major surgery.
Donation protected
I come to all of you today with a heavy heart, seeking support for my best friend who has been struggling immensely with health issues for the past few years. She needs your help to undergo a final surgery that will save her life, allowing her to continue caring for her children.
It takes a great amount of strength for a traditional woman with virtues to come to a foreign land after marrying someone within her community. However, my friend trusted her husband enough, but that trust devastated her life. After getting married, her father had to give her husband almost everything they owned as per the dowry condition. But who knew this guy would not turn out to be trustworthy enough as a partner and someone who would beat her up almost every second day and emotionally abuse her right after their marriage? Yes! She is a victim of domestic violence since her marriage.
Now, all she is left with is severe mental trauma (depression, PTSD) paired up with severe physical health issues. If not operated, she may bid farewell to all of us. She is now a single mother who has to bear all the responsibility for her kids, and with those expenses, it is impossible for her to pay for her surgery. It's easier to say, but she has endured it all. This is a high time where we all can reflect our humanity to her by supporting her however, we can.
It is a tremendous pain to watch my friend go through such agony every day. She is almost non-functional, but she pushes herself to extreme limits for her kids, and deep down, she is enduring unbearable physical pain. She is experiencing excessive vaginal bleeding and abdominal pain for one year, along with prolonged severe pelvic pain. She would have to be admitted to the hospital frequently for her condition. At first, she was in a dilemma, but after undergoing multiple examinations and diagnoses by various gynaecologists, they figured out that she eventually developed uterine adenomyosis, which later spread to her ovaries, coupled with bowel adhesions. It has now become imperative for her to undergo a procedure known as Hysterectomy: the removal of her entire uterus along with her ovaries, fallopian tubes, cervix, and other surrounding structures that have adhered to each other in her condition. She is going through extreme emotional turmoil after that because she is only in her early 30's.
She does not have a health insurance. The public hospital wait time is 1 year for this process, and she does not have that much time left as per the specialist, and the surgery needs to be performed as soon as possible. Hence, she decided to go privately, and this is the reason we are pleading for help so that we don't lose her.
Our life is so unpredictable, and a little help can bring a little sunshine into somebody's life and help lift their hopes to live. Therefore, I, on behalf of my friend, who is extremely sick right now, am requesting everyone to contribute anything so that we can bring my friend back to be there for her kids.
Please consider donating to the fund we've set up to cover the medical expenses in supporting my friend to live and support her kids so that they don't become orphans. Your generosity will guide them to a path of hope.
Thank you so much for your consideration and continued support.
With sincere thanks and gratitude.
