My dear friend William was mugged in broad daylight last week while walking home. He was hit over the back of the head by two men that stole his wallet, phone, and backpack full of essentials. He is in the process of trying to get back what he lost. One of the most devastating aspects of this is that he had just deducted his rent money from the bank and that, along with all his cards were in the wallet. He's reached out to local agencies for help, but due to the government funding being cut, they said they are unable to offer assistance at this time. Will is like a brother to me and I've known him for over 25 years. My heart is breaking for him as he is such a kind soul that would give anyone the shirt off his back. My hope and prayer through this GoFundMe is that the goodness he puts out into this world will be returned to him and together we can raise enough to help cover the cost of his rent and utilities so that he and his sweet little pup can keep a roof over their heads!
