Help Needed: Fire Damage to Friend's Home

My best friend & I went on a girls trip down to LA. We had the best time until we went home...she came home to the unimaginable. All of her stuff ruined by an apartment fire. The unit above hers caught fire on Friday May 30th and luckily the fire dept. was able to put it out. However, there's extreme water damage to her apt., that's been sitting there for 3 1/2 days. No one notified her of the incident...she had to come home to see all of her belongings waterlogged and covered in soot. Her circumstances are a bit complicated as her mom lives in Barbados & I live 3000 miles away in CA so it's hard for us to travel out there to help her. Luckily, she has a small but mighty support system in NY, but I feel as I must do something, so I'm asking for any small donation you all can provide. Thank you!
