On August 3, 2019, Caitlynne Rose, the 20-year old daughter of Melanie Marchand Infinger (1995 graduate of Broadmoor High in Baton Rouge) was murdered in Pasadena, Texas, by her husband after he was released from prison on assault charges against her from earlier in the week.

Unaware of her husband’s release from prison,  Caitlynne was stabbed multiple times when her husband returned to the apartment where the couple resided with their eight month old daughter. Caitlynne, who was carrying the couple’s second child, and her unborn child later died at a local hospital. 

The purpose of this GoFundMe is to raise funds that will be used to help Melanie give Caitlynne the memorial and burial she deserves, as well as, to help with childcare expenses for Caitlynne’s surviving eight month old daughter.
