My husband and I were married 33 years. He was my best friend, my soulmate, my teammate in life, my rock, my everything. I am lost without him. On August 28, 2021 he passed away in our home unexpectedly of a heart attack. It still feels unreal to me as if maybe he went to the store and will back or hasn't gotten home from work yet.
Last year we lost our life insurance during the pandemic because we could no longer afford the premiums. I am left with his car payments (I'd like to keep his car so I have a reliable car for my remaining years - he owes approx $18,000), our mortgage (just under $1200 per month), our debt, and our 8 senior rescued dogs.
If you can help, all funds will be used first to pay off his car and for the next 3 months of mortgage payments as well as food and meds for our dogs.
My main goal is to not end up on the streets in a box with my 8 dogs. I am now all alone. My mother is 81 and doesn't live with me. Anything would help at all, including your prayers.
I am still very much in shock now and don't even know if what I'm writing makes much sense, but here I am asking for help.
