I’m setting up this GoFundMe to support my friend Lilliana and her family after an incredibly difficult time.

While on a three-week family holiday in South Africa, their daughter suffered a serious accident and badly broke her leg, requiring surgery. She is currently unable to walk and needs ongoing care.

When the family returned home, they discovered that a burst pipe had caused severe damage to their house while they were away. The home is now uninhabitable, and they have lost almost everything.

They are currently staying in a hotel while trying to secure a rental property, and repairs to their home are expected to take months. This fundraiser is to help them replace essential items such as clothing and everyday necessities, and to ease some of the financial strain during this overwhelming time.
