Hi everyone. I am not good at asking for help, but right now I really need it.

As many of you know, I run my marketing business and host community events, and having a car is really important for me to get around the Bay to film, work with businesses, and organize things.

Last night my car was involved in a hit and run. An intoxicated driver hit multiple parked cars on the street, including mine, and then drove away.

My car was hit on the left rear and the damage is severe. The back of the car is torn up, glass is everywhere, and the gas tank is hanging underneath, so it is not drivable.

A witness has photos of the driver, passenger, vehicle, and license plate, and I am currently working through the reporting and insurance process.

I know social media can make life look smooth, but situations like this create a really heavy and unexpected financial burden between towing, rentals, Ubers, and potentially replacing the car.

I love doing things for my community, but right now I really need my community to have my back.
