Hi there, my name is Bashar Anabtawi. I live in Canada and I've been working with Nidaa on an e-business platform for the last few months, but Nidaa had to put her work on hold as of October 7, 2023. Her family, like millions of others have been displaced and living in fear and starvation ever since, wondering if they will make it past tomorrow. Before the genocide, they all lived together in a 5 story building. As you see from the photo attached, their home has been a result of everyday bombardment and destruction. Here are some words from Nidaa:

I am Nidaa, I was living a beautiful and stable life until October 7th, 2023. We were exposed to genocide and were displaced from our homes, from one place to another. We are surviving in a tent, no suffice shelter and no life. Everyday, my five year-old son and I face tough challenges, life-changing decisions, and famine. We find ourselves choosing between fleeing or staying in our homeland, but we need financial support. It seems like every choice is a big one, but we, with our faith in God, hope to be protected and choosing the right path for survival. Please help in whichever way, and share the link with friends and family.
