Help Nebal and Her Family Survive in Gaza

Update from Nebal: I decided to increase the target amount because I urgently need to cover additional expenses. These include the costs of traveling to receive proper medical care, getting prosthetic arms fitted, and hiring a helper to support me and my little daughter in our daily life.

From Nebal in her own words: I am Nebal Al-Hessi, I’m from Gaza. I am a 25-year-old graduate of English translation, once filled with dreams of a bright future reflecting my boundless ambitions. I am a mother to an innocent one-and-a-half-year-old daughter, but life in Gaza has turned my world upside down. While displaced in Al-Bureij camp, I was struck by random artillery shelling that plunged my life into an abyss of suffering. I sustained severe injuries, resulting in the amputation of both my arms below the elbows, critical damage to my liver and leg, and scattered burns that scar my body. This tragedy did not only rob me of my limbs but also stripped me of the ability to embrace my daughter, feed her, or even play with her. I am rendered helpless in the simplest daily tasks, from holding a glass of water to changing my little one’s clothes. My spirit buckles under the weight of physical pain and emotional despair, and the dreams that once lit my path have faded, leaving me in the darkness of hopelessness. With a broken heart and fragile hope, I appeal to you to extend a helping hand. I urgently need medical treatment, prosthetic limbs to reclaim a fragment of my independence, and the opportunity to travel for proper care. I long for the day I can hold my daughter again and rebuild a dignified life for her and myself. Please, help me restore hope and provide my daughter with the security she deserves.
