Help Nazarii battle Spinal Muscular Atrophy

Nazarii was diagnosed with Spinal Muscular Atrophy at a very young age and has spent his whole life battling it. Thanks to the three jobs that he juggles with, Nazarii is able to make some payments for his treatment, however, this is not enough. Currently, he has an individual treatment that requires around €3000 a month, but he is only able to make half of that. Spinal Muscular Atrophy (SMA) is a neuromuscular disease, which is manifested by a progressive loss of muscle strength that affects the ability to walk, swallow and breathe. It is caused by a mutation in the survival gene of motor neurons. This gene is responsible for the production of a protein that is critical for the nerves that control our muscles. Without this protein, these neurons cannot function properly and die at any given time. Nazarii has been very strong throughout his journey but needs the help of strangers in order to continue battling this disease. Despite these life complications, he keeps his smile and his strong spirit. The ultimate goal is to help Nazarii to continue his treatments in order to keep fighting SMA.
