a message from Nayara:

Hi, my name is Nayara Nieto Stout.

A year ago I went through the hardest thing imaginable. I lost my husband in a car accident. After a couple of months I thought the best thing for me at that point was to pack up all my things and move across the country.

My time in Portland has not been what I had hoped.

I wished for a fresh start, a new beginning--but being here has only worsened my mental health to the point where I am unable to care for myself or my animals.

After talking with family, we've decided the best thing for me right now would be to move back to the place I've called home for 7 years--Memphis.

I wish this were an easy undertaking and decision, but I know ultimately it is the best for me in this time.

The biggest cost for this move is getting a shipping pod-- this will cost me $2200 for the shipping pod to be delivered and shipped back to Memphis at the end of June.

I am asking for help as I start this journey back home and back to myself. Truly, anything helps.
