Hey Everyone,

 

My name is Aceyaa. After having a long conversation with Nawal & her mother it broke my heart not to do anything.

 

Her mother told me to share their story & all the pains that have followed. Nawal & her mom both moved from VA last year. Her mom thought it was the perfect time to bring her daughter around her community. Her mom is a single mom and Nawal is an only child. Currently her mom is majoring in Nursing & wants to be better!

 

Yesterday a tragedy occurred where Nawal was attacked in her home! There is a viral video circulating. I will not be sharing that video on this GoFund me, but it is everywhere. This video was very heartbreaking & hard to watch. Nawal’s mom went on to tell me that her daughter called and she was at a neighbors house dropping off food. Nawal’s mom was headed back to her apartment when she seen a group of kids running out of the elevator. She held on to one girl & she then was hit in the face. Nawal was tased and went to the hospital for medical treatment. The doctors told her there can be internal bleeding. Nawal stated she scared to even be in her own home. Her mom stated she works and doesn’t even feel safe because her address was leaked. She stated, “Habo, I don’t care what it takes. This behavior is unacceptable. It’s one thing to fight, but invade someone’s home and cause so much damage. What did I do to deserve this?” She went on to tell me she might face eviction due to the chaos that have occurred in her apartment building.

 

Her mom told me a couple of things.

 

1. She needs to relocate and find a safe place to live.

2. Pay for the broken items in the apartment building.

3. Pay for therapy for her & Nawal.
